Work Product Descriptor (Artifact): Business Objective

A Business Objective is a specific result that the enterprise aims to achieve within a defined time frame. Objectives are concrete and easier to measure than goals. Objectives are basic to all business planning and strategic activities and serve as the basis for creating policy and evaluating performance. It is produced outside of UAM but is an important input into its processes.
